* Hammer (firing pin) On pre-1958 cannons there was a small steel wheel assembly located on the bottom of the hammer (see close-up below).  This "rode" on the spring when the hammer was pulled.  This was done away with in the 1970's.  New, replacement hammers do not have the wheel.

** Axel nut and elevator threads are different on pre 1958 cannons.

*** Extractor; Replacing a extractor requires the cannon or barrel to be
sent back.  Click here to see this procedure.

Some parts may be required to be custom fit, i.e., the breech assembly may need filing in order to function properly. If you are not handy with small machining (filing / sanding), we don't recommend replacing some parts yourself.

How to order:

Most Winchester cannon parts will be sent via Priority US Mail to save you money on shipping charges.  Be careful with your selection as parts are not returnable.   Email or write to us if you are uncertain about what to order.

Can I add rubber tires to my standard chrome cannon?

Yes, you can, however you need new metal wheels, a axel, spacers and acorn nuts.  The wheels are machined to accept & hold the rubber tires as shown in the picture.  Because the tires are wider, a longer axel is needed with spacers.
