New carriage for 10 foot long barrel

The Scituate Federal Savings Bank, located just south of Boston, Massachusetts has had a large naval cannon proudly displayed for many years.  The carriage finally began to give out under the weight (4200 lb) of the cast iron barrel and needed replacing.  Cannon-Mania built a new carriage and delivered it on October 27, 2008.

Carriage is just over 6 feet long.  There are several vertical steel reinforcing rods imbedded in the sides.
