This week the obituary list displayed the names of some notable people. Ed McMahon , Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson to name a few. I personally did not know these people. The national and international news didn't carry Austin Locher's obituary. I did know Austin. Austin was a Georgian local who was the most enthuastic person I know, about cannons. Austin lived cannons. I had the great pleasure of meeting Austin a few years ago and gave him a small presentation cannon. Austin became a friend and a customer. He would email and occasionally call, sharing his ideas for special cannons, and he would always ask hundreds of questions. I will miss Austin and think of him often. He was laid to rest today. Clutched in his hand was the cannon I gave him. Godspeed Austin. Godspeed.
