We no longer accept Lantaka's, Dutch VOC, South East Asian and Chinese antique cannons.  There are too many forgeries (both poor and high quality) on the market.  It is impossible for us to verify the authenticity of these cannons from a couple of photographs.  
If you are in the market for one of these, use extreme caution 
and
don't always believe the seller They may not know, or may be pulling a real con job!

Rare "Dewey" alarm gun / signal cannon.  Circa 1899

Fires using a riffle percussion cap / black powder.  Cannon cocks by lifting it up.  Pulling on the trip wires cause the barrel to fall, causing the percussion cap to fire, igniting the black powder in the barrel.

Heavy duty barrel is 8.75 inches long.
Cannon weighs  14 lbs.

Base is 4.75 x 9 inches

Excellent working condition.

Cannon and carriage weigh 6000 lbs.  Located in Alabama.

Barrel and elevation screw are original.  Authentic carriage and hardware were made in 1970's.
