cannon shoot 

This is the start of new section that has been in the planning stages for a couple of years.  More locations & pictures will be added soon.  We really need to hear from viewers about other locations.  

Hernando County, FL (7/4/03)

I've attached a few pics from our 4th of July celebration.  My wife and I attended a machine gun and cannon shoot at the Hernando Sportsman's range.  We shot my naval cannon with a 1" bore and my Mountain Howitzer with a .58" bore.  My 3" barrel is still not completed, but I think we got some solid hits with the small pieces.

The range is located in Hernando County, FL.  They gave us six cars to shoot at plus a bunch of aliens (dummies), bowling pins, water heaters etc..  What a blast!  The targets were set up from 50 yards out to 250 yards.  It was an amazing event.

I was hoping you could post some of these shots on your cannon in battle page and maybe let people know that the Hernando Sportsman's Club is going to be planning a cannon only shoot in the future.  I will let you know when they set a date.
