10 gauge signal cannon

10 gauge lanyard fired signal cannon mounted on a red oak naval carriage.  
This cannon is for firing 10 gauge blanks only!

	The barrel is expertly machined from brass and is 18.5 inches long.   The entire cannon weights 25 lbs.
	The breech mechanism lifts from the barrel for cartridge insertion.  The lanyard is attached to a cocking mechanism located on the breech.
